Building modules for Zikula - It's as simple as thatOct 20, 2018, 2:30 PM
Modules extend the functionality of your homepage. With Zikula and the ModuleStudio(MOST) creating a module is easy and fast.

So I planned the module Autolinks with the ModuleStudio, generated it and made it work for me with a little code of my own.
In the following I would like to show you how the model looks like in ModuleStudio and which own code I wrote.

PHP programming with Zikula and EclipseOct 4, 2018, 3:45 PM
Zikula is a Php Application Framework. This means that Zikula facilitates programming with PHP.
How to do that? Php is now object-oriented.
This means that every entity is treated as an object. Object-oriented programming is an abstraction level that has caused me some headaches. It should be mentioned that I did not study computer science.

Php Application Framework Zikula - Theme Development 4Oct 1, 2018, 9:10 PM
Editing templates in your own Theme is not a problem, because your own theme is not affected by core or module updates.
For modules it looks different. For modules, your changes are quickly overwritten when you update a module. Your changes would then be lost.
Therefore, this article will show you how to customize templates in modules without risking overwriting your changes.
Pages - The module for simple pagesSep 30, 2018, 4:40 PM
In the following I show the Pages module that is well suited for such pages.
Pages has been around for several years and has lost nothing of its importance for creating a homepage.
Pages has only a few features to offer, is therefore easy to use and easy to bring up to date, so it is a reliable companion.
